Seaside was our housing company for 3.5 years. We have nothing but good things to say. All of our repairs were fixed quickly. When we had to renegotiate our rent due to rising costs, they were completely transparent and fair. Our move out process was completely fair, especially with us having been in the house for 3.5 years. Seaside was always great. We would absolutely use Seaside as a housing agency again. Everyone was great! Polite, kind, transparent, and fair. We would highly recommend Seaside!

We have been with Seaside for almost a year and I haven’t complaints. Every issue we’ve had has been addressed quickly. We had an AC issue and they replaced immediately no questions asked. Phone calls are always answered and emails are responded to promptly. The move in process was straightforward and they answered all my questions. So far we are very happy with seaside housing and their staff.

Military member here. From day one Seaside has been good to me. They worked excellent with housing on base to get a lease drafted quickly. Prompt response to email concerns. Prompt maintenance repairs. No issues.Today I had my final inspection- no secret fees. No additional charges other than the mandatory cleaning fee which was noted in my lease along with a dryer filter. (Also noted to repair for inspection. I chose to let them deduct the fee.)Read your Seaside handbook. Take care of the place like it’s your own. You will have no issues and be very happy with them! I will 100% use this agency if I return to island. Thank you Seaside.

When you think you're tired of staying in that hotel give it another week and keep looking for something better. They supposedly charge a $350 cleaning fee but whoever they hire to clean must live in filth. There was piles of smelly dog hair under the oven when we moved in we cleaned and found so much filth. Most of there rentals are what we would consider section 8 housing. The fan blades are all in horrible condition from the humidity. This is not an excuse, they make plastic fan blades for this very reason but they are to cheap to upgrade anything. They spray painted a toilet seat so it would look new.

Being charged $200 to have walls repainted for “normal wear and tear”, as described by the house inspector. I agree it was “normal wear/dirt”, but not damaged in any way. Really, the walls just need washed. They tell you during the house hunt when it comes time to move out to not worry about cleaning, because there is a mandatory cleaning fee of ~$350. Turns out this cleaning fee does not include the walls being washed! My house was never really too dirty, but there was a bit of dust/dirt that stuck to the textured concrete walls. So instead of washing the walls, they would rather charge the customer for having to repaint the property. This is simply ridiculous. I understand this isn’t the US, but from my experience general maintenance is the responsibility of the property owner between tenants, and not the responsibility of the tenant unless damages were incurred. Am I’m forced to wonder if these are charges they bring against Americans because they know we only have a limited time to PCS, and therefore less time to fight breech of lease accusations or ridiculous charges. I have heard of many agencies which nickel and dime you during you final house inspection. SeaSide helped me find a place quickly, but then again I wasn’t too picky about where I lived here. Really, my advice would be to look at properties through multiple agencies, read your lease thoroughly and don’t be afraid to negotiate lease terms. Expect to be nickel and dimed while living in Japan.

I arrived to Okinawa and was told the SNCO barracks were full and I had to find a place off-base. I spoke to a realtor with Seaside Housing. She took me look at a few places. I loved them all. Decided on the first. Now I have a beautiful house right by the beach and never want to leave. I couldn't be happier with the house or their service. Had an issue with my dryer and they fixed it immediately. I can't say enough about the quality of service. I highly recommend them!
