手水舎の特徴
高尾山薬王院内に位置する大きい手水舎です。
多数の柄杓が用意されているユニークな設備です。
様々なアトラクションが楽しめる特別な場所です。
After passing through the 薬王院 山門 Yakuō-in Sanmon Gate, on the left (across from the Tengu statues) is a 手水舎 hand washing purification fountain watched over by the statue of a monk blowing on a 法螺貝 horagai [conch shell trumpet].You may see or hear a procession from 薬王院 Yakuō-in temple with a trumpeter among the processing monks.Because of the Corona virus pandemic, the hand washing purification station is covered over (Feb. 2023).
