Tetsu is the man! I had a fantastic experience! I dove for two days, one day off the shores of Naha and another day around the Kerama Islands. Both days were absolutely breathtaking! During the entire process Tetsu was incredibly professional, attentive, and briefed us on everything from local species to potential hazards to look out for. I highly recommend Honu Honu Divers for those looking for an incredible experience diving around Okinawa! I'll be back!
I had an outstanding experience completing my Open Water course with Tetsu in Okinawa. From start to finish, he was incredibly professional, calm, and attentive, which made a huge difference as a beginner.His teaching style is clear and structured, but also relaxed enough to keep you comfortable in the water. He took the time to make sure every skill was done properly, without rushing, and always checked that I felt confident before moving on.One of the highlights was getting the chance to do a boat dive during the course, which really added to the experience and helped bridge the gap between training and real-world diving.What stood out most is that Tetsu is clearly passionate about diving and still actively running lessons, bringing a high level of consistency and care to his teaching. You feel like you’re learning from someone who genuinely loves what they do and takes safety seriously.I’d highly recommend Tetsu to anyone looking to learn diving in Okinawa — whether you’re completely new or just starting out, you’ll be in very capable hands.

1年前の3月に別のお店でOPWを受けているのですが、寒さと海慣れしていないのもあり、結局ライセンスを取得できていませんでした。「私ってダイビングに向いていないのかな」と自信喪失状態のまま、こちらのお店でダイビングさせていただきましたが、見事OPWとれました！沖縄という素晴らしい環境もそうですが、イントラさん達が根気よく、一つ一つ焦らずにスキルを練習させてくださったおかげだと思っています。ウェイ系？みたいな、はしゃいだ雰囲気のお店ではないので、そこは安心できます。
Usually i dont have time to write a review but honu honu really deserve it.We contacted this diving company thanks to WhatsApp as we dont speak japanese.We had an answer in english very fast and the next day, we dived.They came to our hotel in naha, picked us up and drove us to the blue cave. They explained us everything in english.We dived twice and it was perfect for beginners especially for me as i am a bad swimmer.They even took pictures for free and uploaded it the same day!!They were very kind, the service was perfect!I highly recommand this company!!
Suberbe plongée en compagnie de Paula et Tetsu: moniteurs extraordianaires! Gentils et patients a souhait, tres pedagogues, les explications ne peuvent pas etre plus claires et nettes. Je les recommande a 1000% sans hesitation. ils nous contactent des le 1er mail par divers methode mail, whatsapp, Line, wechat, ils sont au taquet pour repondre a nos questions avant la plongée, on a pu reserver 2 jours avant facilement grâce a cela. Ils prennent egalement pleins de photos qu'ils mettent tres rapidement a disposition en ligne. Merci pour ce bon moment passé avec vous!

I had an amazing experience diving with Honu Honu Divers in Okinawa! I did two fun dives with Nawa, and it was easily one of the highlights of my trip.From the very beginning, communication was excellent with Tetsu. They responded incredibly quickly via email, WhatsApp, and even Instagram, making the whole booking process smooth and stress-free.The dive trip itself was fantastic. The boat ride was comfortable and enjoyable, and the team provided towels and drinking water on board, which was a thoughtful touch. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and professional, creating a relaxed atmosphere where I felt welcome from start to finish.They also took great photos during the dives, so I have wonderful memories to take home. On top of that, the price was very reasonable for the quality of service they provide.If you're looking for a professional, welcoming, and well-organized dive school in Okinawa, I can't recommend Honu Honu Divers enough.Thank you for making this such an unforgettable experience!
