I really enjoyed my 4 weeks at WAHAHA and highly recommend the school. The teachers are all very kind, approachable, and patient and it was a great community to be a part of. There are frequent social events and daily breaks, which make it easy to make friends. The school has a family-like atmosphere and it was a wonderful place to learn Japanese and meet people. I will likely come back to continue my studies and look forward to improving my Japanese with WAHAHA!

🌸Wahaha Sprachschule🌸Es war wahrscheinlich die beste Entscheidung die ich getroffen hatte, um japanisch zu lernen. Von Anfang an hat mir die Schule und Ihre Mitarbeiter sooo sehr geholfen!!Ich kann diese Schule nur empfehlen, ich hatte eine unglaublich schöne Zeit.Neben dem japanisch lernen, gibt es auch meist wöchentlich an kleinen/großen Ausflügen mit der Schule. Dadurch lernt man auch andere Schüler aus anderen Klassen besser kennen.Wobei man auch in den Pausen zwischen den Stunden sich mit den anderen unterhalten kann.Generell herrschte eine sehr harmonische&familiäre Stimmung. Man konnte sich mit allen gut unterhalten auch mit den Lehrern.Was mir sehr geholfen/aufgefallen ist das sich auch wirklich um einen außerhalb der Schule/japanisch lernen gekümmert wird.Haruka Sensei hat mir von Anfang so sehr geholfen eine Unterkunft zu finden, und zum Glück hab ich noch einen Platz in meiner bevorzugten Wahl bekommen.Auch bei anderen Schülern hab ich mitbekommen das sich bemüht wurde eine andere Unterkunft zu finden falls es mit der ersten doch nicht passte.Im Klassenzimmer war die Stimmung auch locker bzw. man hat gemeinsam gelernt und versucht sich zu unterstützen jedoch gab es keinen Druck falls man etwas nicht sofort verstanden hat.In den 5 Monaten hatte ich immer Glück mit meinen Klassenkameraden, auch nennenswert ist das trotz Gruppenstunden die Gruppe klein ist und man somit auch nicht untergeht.Zum Fazit kann ich nur sagen das diese Schule für mich persönlich die beste Schule ist. Oft hab ich such von anderen gehört das Sie zu Wahaha gefunden haben weil Ihnen diese Schule empfohlen wurde. Einige waren auch schon zum wiederholten Male da.Zum Schluss würde ich mich gerne nocheinmal persönlich bei allen Lehrern für meinen tollen Aufenthalt danken!!!Ich habe soo viele tolle Menschen kennengelernt und hatte immer coole Menschen um mich rum.Vor allen an Haruka, Tomomi und Junko Sensei, dank euch allen hatte ich eine unvergessliche Zeit in Fukuoka🥹❤️Ich werde euch alle schrecklich vermissen.

I also took private lessons, which were highly tailored and instrumental in helping me prepare for specific goals (in these lessons, YOU decide what you want to learn and the teachers WILL help you achieve your learning objectives).• Teachers: The staff are highly qualified and diverse - ranging from former newspaper editors to professional emcees. They bring real-world context to the language, which is vital at higher levels where nuance matters most.• Community: Students come from all walks of life and corners of the globe. There’s a wonderful "we’re all in this together" atmosphere where everyone encourages each other to speak Japanese, regardless of mistakes.• Beyond the Classroom: The school organizes multiple weekly activities to help students bond and practice. You definitely won’t feel lonely here!• Accommodation: I opted for a private apartment arranged by the school. The process was completely hassle-free; they secured a great flat for me before I even arrived in Japan.Overall: I cannot recommend WAHAHA enough. Thanks to their support and the immersive environment they cultivate, I was able to fully enjoy myself as a full-time student again and even managed to pass the JLPT N2 with a score of 85%. I have been a student at WAHAHA since September 2025. I moved to Fukuoka from New York last year and quickly discovered that, aside from the language barrier, it is an incredible place to live. After attending WAHAHA, Japanese has gradually become far less daunting, and the language now feels much more approachable.WAHAHA has truly become a second home to me, and my only regret is not starting sooner. I enrolled in Wahaha for a month long stay, 2 weeks in and I can’t complain! They helped me find the best accommodation that suited my requests and within close proximity to the school!Teachers have been amazing! Shout out to my teachers: Tomomi sensei, Haruka Sensei, Sarah Sensei and Chiharu sensei!Although I’ve been struggling a little to keep up with my classmates who have been studying Nihongo longer than I have, they’ve tried to help me catch up by being patient, offering extra time out of their busy schedules to adjust to my learning style and capabilities!We also had school activities outside of the classroom like cultural field trips in Hakata, Takoyaki and Oden Making sessions and and after schools get togethers which helped me meet my other classmates who have become friends!!I’m having so much fun while learning at Wahaha!! I feel very fortunate to have had the chance to join the Japanese course at Wahaha Language School. Since our class is small, with only about four students, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, which also helps me focus more on my studies. The teacher is not only kind but also very approachable, always patiently answering our questions. Whenever I encounter difficulties or things I don’t understand, the teacher explains them carefully step by step, making it easier for me to grasp the concepts. The teaching style is very attentive, and the lessons are adjusted to our level so that no one falls behind.What touched me the most was that the school even took us to Kurume to watch the fireworks. It was not just about studying, but also about experiencing Japanese local culture firsthand and getting a feel for real life beyond textbooks. This kind of learning experience has not only improved my language skills but also deepened my understanding of Japanese culture. The teacher’s dedication and kindness have given me great motivation throughout the learning process, and I am truly looking forward to the upcoming lessons.

ワーキングホリデーコースのワハハスクールで1ヶ月勉強しました。彼らは私が本当に早くビザを取得できるように ERFS 書類を準備してくれました。私はすでに日本語能力試験N1を3年前に受けており、上級レベルですが、それでも非常に優れた教師のおかげで多くのことを学びました.クラスは少人数制で、生徒のレベルとニーズに対応しています。コースの最後に、居酒屋と日本人アーティストの展示会に行きました。宝物になるとても良い経験でした。淳子さん、先生方、ありがとうございました。（原文）I studied for 1 month in the Wahaha School on the Working Holiday Course; They prepared the ERFS document so that I could get my visa really fast. I had already taken the JLPT N1 3 years ago and am advanced level but even then I learned a lot thanks to the very good teachers. The classes are small and they cater to the student’s level and needs. At the end of the course we went to an izakaya and a Japanese Artist’s exhibition. Just today I have taken an online Translation group class and they have organized it very well. The BEST School in Fukuoka. Myself and a friend attended Wahaha for 5 weeks. Each and everyone of our teachers was amazing. We learned so much in our 5 weeks at Wahaha. Wahaha has a relaxed learning environment, classes were small not huge group classes. Our teachers were consistently Genki and so much fun to be around. Full of local knowledge and organizing fun events for us to hang out with other students and them outside of the classroom. Ask them to take you to Karaoke, it will not disappoint. I spent 3 weeks attending Wahaha Japanese Language School in Fukuoka this past December /January. It was a truly wonderful experience. Junko Sensei and her team of teachers were warm and engaging. They provided lessons which were tailored to meet my needs including my interests. They always encouraged me to do my best. I attended several social events organised by Junko Sensei and felt a sense of community even though I was there for just 3 weeks. They also arranged accommodation which was so convenient and comfortable. I plan to return this Autumn or next Spring. I would encourage anyone to sign up for a course at Wahaha as you will feel supported and encouraged on your journey with the Japanese language.

I can't recommend this school anymore. From day 1 I was made to feel very welcomed and comfortable! The school has a great atmosphere and feels more like a family. Everyone helps each other and the school often puts on small social events so it's a great way to meet people when you are new to the city. The teachers are all excellent and cater to each individuals needs, and with the class size being very small (4max) even in a group lesson you feel like you are receiving a private lesson. The class is very fun and informative a time the same time. I spent 6 weeks at Wahaha and felt my Japanese improved dramatically. All in all it's a great school, has fantastic teachers and a really friendly atmosphere. I would 100% recommend Wahaha!
