I had already taken the JLPT N1 3 years ago and am advanced level but even then I learned a lot thanks to the very good teachers. The classes are small and they cater to the student’s level and needs. At the end of the course we went to an izakaya and a Japanese Artist’s exhibition. I have been studying intermediate level Japanese here and from time to time I get a lot of chances taking special classes including Translation and Business Japanese. These are extremely useful to my work and more importantly the teachers know what you need.Lessons here are full of fun and in such a good atmosphere your Japanese will naturally improve super fast! Just today I have taken an online Translation group class and they have organized it very well. Not only did I get a lot of opportunities putting my textbook knowledge into use with clear guidance from the teacher but interacting with other students at a similar level also enabled me to learn outside of the textbooks from diversified Japanese exposures.The class size here is small and this really allows you to get personal attention and teachers will understand your needs very well. I would definitely recommend studying at WAHAHA.

They work with you no matter what level of Japanese you're studying, even absolute beginners. And they are so GOOD at their teaching methods too! They introduce you to all sorts of cool stuff around Fukuoka as well as general Japanese culture. Every day at the school felt like a party. I honestly looked forward to class every day! The BEST School in Fukuoka. Myself and a friend attended Wahaha for 5 weeks. Each and everyone of our teachers was amazing. We learned so much in our 5 weeks at Wahaha. Wahaha has a relaxed learning environment, classes were small not huge group classes. Our teachers were consistently Genki and so much fun to be around. Full of local knowledge and organizing fun events for us to hang out with other students and them outside of the classroom. Ask them to take you to Karaoke, it will not disappoint. I can recommend Wahaha to anyone looking to study Japanese in Fukuoka. ありがとうございます！
I spent 3 weeks attending Wahaha Japanese Language School in Fukuoka this past December /January. It was a truly wonderful experience. Junko Sensei and her team of teachers were warm and engaging. They provided lessons which were tailored to meet my needs including my interests. They always encouraged me to do my best. I attended several social events organised by Junko Sensei and felt a sense of community even though I was there for just 3 weeks. They also arranged accommodation which was so convenient and comfortable. I plan to return this Autumn or next Spring. I would encourage anyone to sign up for a course at Wahaha as you will feel supported and encouraged on your journey with the Japanese language.

I feel very fortunate to have had the chance to join the Japanese course at Wahaha Language School. Since our class is small, with only about four students, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, which also helps me focus more on my studies. The teacher is not only kind but also very approachable, always patiently answering our questions. Whenever I encounter difficulties or things I don’t understand, the teacher explains them carefully step by step, making it easier for me to grasp the concepts. The teaching style is very attentive, and the lessons are adjusted to our level so that no one falls behind.What touched me the most was that the school even took us to Kurume to watch the fireworks. It was not just about studying, but also about experiencing Japanese local culture firsthand and getting a feel for real life beyond textbooks. This kind of learning experience has not only improved my language skills but also deepened my understanding of Japanese culture. The teacher’s dedication and kindness have given me great motivation throughout the learning process, and I am truly looking forward to the upcoming lessons.
