Syariah Hotel Fujisanの特徴
湖の近くに位置する、静かな雰囲気の和風ホテルです。
毎日の本格和食が楽しめ、特にムスリム向けに配慮されています。
祈祷用の部屋があるなど、ムスリム旅行者に優しい配慮が施されています。
A nice, reasonably priced little B&B with charming staff, breakfast was traditional Japanese and very nice. It wouldn't suit travellers who want 5 star luxury but for a low cost stay it's ideal. There's an Indian restaurant and a Lawsons within a five minute walk.
If you can't find a prayer room around Kawaguchiko area, you can go here. Just tell the staff that you want to use the prayer's room. They will charge you for 500 yen per person so you can use the toilet and also prayer's room

Stayed for 3 nights, on 2nd day of solo hike to Mount Fuji. |Greeted well by inn lady, friendly and helpful. |She arrange transport to Kawaguchiko Station. |Breakfast was at the best. Authentic Japanese. Full and hearty lasted until 8th station of Fujisan.|2nd and 3rd day breakfast also superb. |Shared bathroom but we were only at the time.|Cleanliness as Japanese standards. |On check out, inn lady escorted till bus saying sayonara.|The place you need to come again.

You can rent the praying room here, they also gave free drinks.
Very disappointed that the prayer room is only for guest. FYI a hotel does'nt have to be a "Muslim hotel" for a muslim to pray. They can stay in any hotel and can still pray in their room as long as we have a compass.
We didn't reserve a room in this hotel, but decided that maybe it was a good place to have halal food (as it was advertised to have a halal restaurant). Unfortunately the restaurant was only open to those who have reserved rooms. In addition, if you want to use the prayer room, you have to pay 500yen per person. Meaning if you come with a family of 4, you'll have to pay 2000yen to pray.I do not suggest patronizing if you aren't staying with them, but if you did reserve a room, then maybe they'd give you much better hospitality than what they gave to us.
The hotel has good basic amenities. ||-The staffs provide excellent service, they make you wanna come back again. Really.||- The highlight of our stay: Halal Japanese dinner and breakfast which were at unbeatable price! Dinner for 1600yen for a set of halal grilled wagyu, tempura, hoto and desserts. The wagyu can be of better quality though, but you get what you paid,right. Breakfast was hearty too. Please do reserve them before coming.||-Can be a bit noisy when it is full house with people coming up and down the stairs, so probably the room at the upper floor would be quieter. ||-There is one room with Mount Fuji view. Try ask for it.||-There are halal ready made foods available at the front desk. Even if you are not staying at the hotel, you can come there to buy them since it is quite difficult to find halal food around fuji-kawaguchiko.||||All in all, we were happy with our visit and definitely would come back again and recommend it to other people too.
