Very friendly shop owner with great English helped us pick out brushes and ink to start trying calligraphy. He is very passionate about calligraphy and taught us how the ink is made. Prices seemed very reasonable. Would highly recommend.
The shop sells art supplies mainly brushes, inks (solid and liquid) and stones to grind the solid ink. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. If you are looking fir the aforementioned supplies this is the best place to go. The owner is veey kern to share information about all the wonderful products and will run back and forth to his computer to look for English translations. He explained that the ink blocks smell differently and also let me try different brushes and we practicesed calligraphy.
広電本川町目の前の、間口の小さいこじんまりとしたお店ですが、筆や墨やら所狭しと並ぶ宝箱の様なお店です。店主さんがおひとりで切り盛りされている様ですが、接客も丁寧で筆の試し書きなんかもさせてもらえたりとすごく楽しく筆選びができました。固形墨も結構たくさんの種類が置いてあってびっくり。良いものたくさんお安くして貰えました。広島界隈で書道用品をお求めでしたら一度来店するのをお薦めします！
書道初心者の私でも、目的や用途をお話すると的確なお道具を提案していただけるので、安心してお買い物ができます。
