This is one of the very best "neighborhood dives" I've ever been to. They were welcoming and accommodating in every way.They have a well kept Brunswick 9', with cloth that's probably changed twice a year and rails that felt like they were serviced often. It plays like a dream. There's also plenty of local talent, from a wide range of skill levels, to play against.If you're in the area and you like bar games at all, just stop in. They have a TV with cuesports playing constantly. The vibe simply cannot be beat.
Great staff, great atmosphere, great people.Walked 4km from my hotel and did not regret it.Played with the in-house professionals and had alot of fun.I feel at home, happy to make new friends here!There is only 1 table however, i would highly recommend if you are an amateur-professional player.
I am an American who has spent at least 3 weeks in Japan. I have never felt so welcomed to a place as when I came into this bar. The bartender, Kanae was patient and really tried to communicate with me. I had some friends with me and we all agree this is now one of our favorite bars in all of Japan, let alone Kyoto. The regulars of the bar went out of their way to make us feel welcome. You know it is a good bar if the customers are as welcoming as the establishment itself.

Such a vibe! Local bar that welcomed us foreigners. Darts and pool with friends playing. They even bought us rounds of drinks, great time wish we would have found it sooner in our stay would have come every night!!
