Przewspanialy dom japonski. Polecam bardzo. Zeby poczuc klimat Japonii koniecznie trzeba pomieszkac w prawdziwym domu japonskim a nie w hotelu. Dziekuje gospodarzom za taka mozliwosc.

We arrived late due to a late plane and missed train, but the managers prepared the entire place for us with lights on and heat on.This house is awesome for people who want to experience a more traditional style of living in Japan. Our family of 6 with two 13 year olds plus a 9 and 7 year old thought it was a lot of fun.The location is very close to the top of a trail of temples. The first one is rather small but a good introduction that builds up to giant temples and shrines as you head south.You can walk to the Gion area in about 20 min.If you arrive by train, I'd recommend a taxi to get here. There's a subway stop nearby but it goes west only.I'd stay here again if I could.

Cut traditional house. If you are physically challenged in flexibility and balance, you may want to reconsider. The stairs to the upstairs is very steep and small so you have to side step going up and down. The door jams are also low so you may bang your head if you are tall.However, with that said the house is charming and gives you a sense of early 1900s Japan. The location is excellent and you can walk to Gion easily. Excellent Yakitori - see picture. Shrines also walkable. SPF has great Tonkatsu and walkable as well.
