If we are rating bathrooms for their cleanliness, which seems to be one of the best ways to appraise one in my opinion, the public restrooms along the Amanohashidate land bridge are 5 stars (as ridiculous as that is to say). They are incredibly clean, have lovely aesthetics, are open and airy, and you can listen to nature: lapping water of the nearby shore, birds, wind through the pine trees, all while you relieve yourself. Like I said, 5 star experience. Try it.
