細かいことは抜きにして、他の財団と比べてかなり低いコストで盲導犬の育成に成功しているという事実は評価されてしかるべきではないかと考えます。少額といえども自身の支援金がどの程度効率的に社会のお役にたっているのか？と考えた場合、これも大切な指標なのかと思いますし。

知人がパピーウオーカーを数回やっている関係で、ブリーダーさん宅に行ったり、募金のお手伝いもわずかながらやらせていただいています。他の団体に比べて、多数の盲導犬を低コストで輩出し、真摯な活動を信頼し、応援しています。
利権のために動物虐待を容認・隠蔽する団体です。
なにもしていない人に限って他人を非難する。試しに失明できたらいくらでも盲導犬を批判すれば。

I've got partnered with three dogs from their program. In my experience, they always have intricately trained dogs who are enthusiastic about their work. All my dogs have been motivated, creative problem-solvers who think on their own. I wish they serve larger meals; but many graduates apparently thought the meals served were too large, so it could be just me thing. Anyway, a workaround is to buy ready-made food from a grocery store. No, you can't just leave the premise with or without the dog during the program but they will do shopping for you twice a week, Tuesday and Friday, if you give them a shopping list and of course, the expense for your grocery. All instructors were friendly, fun to talk to, but strict more or less, but the strictness, you'll thank for later when you are on your own with your dog after having passed all the tests and successfully completed the program. For your peace of mind, your instructor is on-call 24 hours a day to handle any emergency. They are staying in the dorm six days a week, and on their day-off, another instructor is assigned. What else? The bed comfortable. The dorm clean and comfy. Amenities: a radio (maybe a CD player but I didn't use it so not sure), hot water maker, a mini-bar size fridge, trash bags, cloth hangers, in-room bathroom, cleaning supplies, humidifier, etc. There was a broom. What? Did I fly on it? No. Can't leave the new dog. As of January, 2025, WiFi connection was not strong and spotty in the dorm. You may want a pocket router. Washer / dryer use is free of charge. You can receive a visitor on Sunday in the afternoon except the first Sunday — that's the day a new dog joins you. In the afternoon, you are out walking and learning with your dog. All in all good experience.
