Cutest tea store, got to taste the matcha for free (with additional candy) and she told me about her family history! Bought some matcha and a whisk, bring cash!
If you come to Hiroshima, you must visit her shop. Seldom does one meet such a warm, hospitable person. She thanked us so often for coming to her shop to buy tea, yet, the honor was all ours to be able to visit such an institution of this city. She was a joy to be around, and we feel very lucky that we got to meet her and take some precious varieties of tea with us home. All our respect and thank you!
Very awesome old tea shop with 102 years of operating. The owner is a sweet lady who tried her best to communicate in English. She was so smiley and shared a small history of the tea shop and the aftermath of the bombing. Felt so warm and welcomed compared to large, established stores.Shop also sells all equipment related to tea/matcha making. Worth a visit if you're looking for tea/matcha!
Miho is so sweet and kind, she showed us real hospitality. Even with her lack of English, she taught us how to make matcha. Such a lovely woman, she also sells some of the best equipment and matcha around at great prices. Must visit.

Small cute and really nice, family run tea shop with very welcoming owner! After trying a few different teas to appreciate a difference among all the options, we arranged a tea making course for the day after - the owner put loads of effort and enthusiasm in to it and and prepared explanation in English for us. Tried traditional tea dessert along side with making matcha a different sencha. All accompanied by talking about history of Hiroshima. The owner is the volunteer in a small museum nearby where we went to visit after her recommendation. Overall superb experience and we were very greatful for bumping into that place! Hope to go there again soon 🙏
平日５時までしかやってません。10年ぶりに伺いましたが、店主の方が変わっていました。こじんまりとしていますが接客は、変わらずいいお店です。静岡のマルカさんや、知覧茶とお抹茶が置いてあるようです。
私たちは幸運にも小さな喫茶店を訪問し、うれしい驚き以上でした。それは非常に長い間ここに立っている小さな家族経営です。私たちはそこでオーナーと話をして、すぐに歓迎されたと感じました。私たちは小さなペストリーとお茶に招待され、その瞬間をすぐに楽しむことができました。強くお勧めします！（原文）Wir besuchten den kleinen Teeladen auf gut Glück und wurden mehr als Positiv überrascht. Es ist ein kleiner Familienbetrieb der schon sehr lange Zeit an dieser Stelle steht. Wir haben dort mit den Besitzern gesprochen und man hatte sofort das Gefühl vermittelt bekommen Wilkommen zu sein. Wir wurden auf ein kleines Gebäck und etwas Tee eingeladen und konnten den Moment sofort genießen. Sehr zu Empfehlen!
