On the way from Susami to Nachikatsuura, we had a stopover to check out the Dolphin Bay.We felt extremely lucky to have found this tiny seafood wholesale store by the whale statue, which also sells tuna sashimi to random customers like us. For merely 300 JY, we had the pleasure of enjoying some of the freshest sashimis of our lives.The store owner was very friendly even though we couldn’t communicate with our languages; he gave us wasabi to go with the tuna sashimi. What a great guy! It seems the probability of coming across such average but wonderful people in this country is fairly high, I have to admit.I highly recommend this seafood wholesale store.We also checked out the nearby pier, where we saw a group of people preparing for canoeing trip.
