中門の特徴
中門の回廊は趣があり、散策にぴったりです。
大門から中門までの道のりが印象的です。
中門は非常に大きく、存在感があります。
中間の門です。これも大きいです。
大門と大仏殿の間にある中門。大門より一回り小さいが、それでも十分巨大。こちらは鋳造の二天像が立っている大門の仁王像とはポーズや表情も違っているので比べると面白い。中門の裏側（大仏殿側）には白大理石と黒大理石の仏像が左右の廻廊に向けて交互に並んで続いている。その中で3体だけ金像があり、お宝発見的みたいな…。中門をくぐるとスケールが圧倒的にデカい大仏殿がドド〜ンと目に飛び込んでくる。いよいよ越前大仏とのご対面、ワクワク感がパない。
This place was a great surprise!We initially wanted to visit the dinosaur museum but when arriving and seeing massive crowds waiting to get in we decided to not tempt fate with the Corona virus and went to find something quieter. This place was perfect!The huge image of the Buddha is one of the largest in the country. It is surrounded by many smaller statues in the large hall. The atmosphere was nice even if the place itself is relatively new compared to the famous Daibutsu in Nara.There were surprisingly few other visitors (apparently has been mostly ignored by the local population), but that made the place more appealing. Unfortunately it also means there are very few shops open near the entrance.The five storied pagoda and the recreation of a Chinese wall were nice but the Japanese garden was not well kept.Recommend this place for splendour without the crowds!
大門から中門に行く間の左右にある回廊がまた趣があり是非通っていただきたいです。中門の内側には何体もの石仏が並んでいます。その中に金色の三体の仏様もいます。
