赤西旅館の特徴
道やダムの作業員に特化した旅館です。
スタンダードな素泊まりは4千円とお手頃です。
周囲の人口よりも作業員が多い静かな立地です。
梅雨入り前に数日滞在しました。ご主人は親切で宿の方も清掃が行き届いており気持ちよく過ごせました！お風呂は時間が決まっていますがほとんど自分１人だったので川の音を聞きながらゆっくりできました。正直最初は心配でしたが電子レンジがあったり外に自販機があったりして他の素泊まりとは比較にならないくらいよかったです！
This rather isolated little ryokan seems to exist to serve the road and dam workers that almost probably outnumber the nearby local population!When I called, that was the first thing they asked me -- "are you in the area for work?" Once I explained my situation (walking trip) they tried to dissuade me saying they could offer nothing but a room but when I told them I was OK with that, they agreed... though they did suggest that I might enjoy a nearby onsen more.I told them I'd think about it, and after a while I did in fact book at the onsen, and phoned my apologies to the ryokan. Honestly, I think they were relieved. Nevertheless, as I passed, I bought a drink from their vending machine, in thanks for their honesty.Quoted rate was 3500 yen without meals, and the owner seemed very honest and friendly on the phone...if perhaps a bit overly-concerned about how his little inn would compare with the nearby Haga hot spring...

周辺のオススメ
素泊りのみ4千円、部屋はきれい。冷暖房完備、ウォシュレット有り。女将さん親切。冷蔵庫、ポット、レンジ有りなので食事なしだが自分で作れる。国道２９号沿いで見つけやすい。
