Had a wonderful and rejuvenating stay with Yasuko and family! Loved my homemade dinners and breakfast, and our fun conversations over meals! Also went to the local onsen, learnt about wild animals in the area, and even saw a tanuki (raccoon)! The Kanbayashi area is beautiful, and perfect for a peaceful retreat.Thank you for taking such great care of me, it felt very homely though I only stayed briefly for 2 nights!
若旅程有一天空檔，很推薦來鄉下住一晚，這家民宿有提供蔬食，非常美味，簡單清爽又很好吃，大概是整趟旅程美味前三名的食物。來訪時是夏季，白天很熱但晚上很涼快，傍晚我們到附近農村散步，晚上還跟民宿主人讀高中的女兒一起玩仙女棒民宿主人略通英文，溝通無礙。
Very lovely stay on our Japan Trip. Yasuko-san and her family were very welcoming and kind. We had the best homecooked meals and enjoyed the quiet nature around. Also loved the frog sound at night :)

Stayed here with my partner in April of this year. We only stayed one night but it still haunts me as the perfect stay. Every thing about our experience was perfect. We foraged for vegetables around a Buddhist shrine across the road and it felt like we had a whole paradise to ourselves. I cried when we had to leave! Thank you for such a beautiful experience.
Absolutely wonderful guesthouse. The family is incredibly kind. The food is delicious, local and beautiful. Everything is clean and there's a wonderful big bathtub. The surrounding area is stunning - farmland, mountains, great hikes and an onsen. The owner speaks English. Perhaps the only thing to be aware of is that if you have any mobility issues, the bathroom is in a separate building and floor than the bedroom. This wasn't an issue for us. I highly recommend Origin Guesthouse and suggest you take advantage of the different experiences they offer.
京都綾部的農家民宿「和宿Origin」（和宿オリジン），提供非常豐盛的早晚餐！素食也可以吃，不含日本魚高湯、肉類以及五辛（蔥蒜等）。蔬菜天婦羅、手作漢堡排、白蘿蔔佐梅味噌、蔬菜味噌湯…每一道菜都讓人驚艷。民宿主人非常親切貼心，就像鄰居的媽媽一樣。環境也很乾淨，廁所浴室都是新裝修過的，非常舒服。睡一頓好覺後，迎接著我們的是香氣撲鼻的早餐。早餐的蔬菜非常鮮甜、特別是荷包蛋不腥，才發現原來這世界上有這麼好吃的蛋。推薦大家來住，特別是吃全素、蛋奶素的人一定要到京都里山體驗日本鄉間的美好住宿體驗❤️

Yasuko and her mom were suuuper sweet and nice. We had a lovely time staying here. Room was cozy, foods and everything was sooo good.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a little nature detox🌱
