Kasugayamagama Mokubeian i Kanazawa selger Kutani-keramikk og unike maneki-neko. Butikken har en minnestein for Aoki Mokubei og arrangerer "Mini Chawan Festival" med spesialpriser på håndmalte keramikkvarer.

Magnificent shop with a window overlooking the artist.I bought a bowl with a dragon in it today. But I can't remember what the technical term of art is. Can you help me? You mentioned 2 different arts in porcelain. Thank you in advance. And thank you for the perfect transport packaging!
This store is part of Kaburaki Merchant House, which was founded in 1822 and was the first merchant house to sell Kutani ware porcelain (according to their website). They also run the Kutani museum and the Oishii Ippuku café/restaurant located a few doors down as well. They make their own in-house Kutani ware products, but they also sell items made by other artisans. They have a wide range of styles from whimsical modern to traditional; prices also range from under $10 to over $10,000. If I had more space in my luggage, I would have bought a wine glass - they remove the stem/foot and replace it with a stem/foot made of Kutani ware. Very original and beautiful - you can see it on their website, which is quite good. Instead, I opted to go with the more standard espresso cup made by Nakata Kingyoku III which is mesmerizing in its beauty. If you are in the Nagamachi area or visiting the Nomura-ke Samurai Residence, I think it’s worth a stop even if you don’t buy anything.
Stumbled across this shop while on our way to the Samurai house. The craftsmanship of their ceramics are gorgeous and they have a large collection. What's cool is that there's a workspace in the back of the shop where you can watch artists work away, hand painting pieces. Prices are on the expensive side, but it's to be expected. Just a FYI- they do not accept Visa/MasterCard touchless payments.
近くの「金沢九谷ミュウジアム」の分館らしいです。ここにはオリジナルのアマビエ商品が沢山ありました！コロナ禍でこその思い出の品になりそうです。可愛かったのでお願いして特別に写真を撮らせていただきました。
九谷焼が欲しくこちらに寄りました。前日に九谷焼美術館を訪ね、そのうえで伺いましたが女性の知識と接客には驚かされました。話の内容も素晴らしいですし、九谷焼への愛が伝わってくるお話しを聞けました。
気軽に立ち寄れる九谷焼のお店。若い作家さんの作品をメインに置かれているそうで、日常使いしやすいデザインとお値段の九谷焼が置いてあります。立ち寄るたびに何か買いたくなります！
