A very simple, open space right by the railway tracks which has drum cans on display with hopeful messages set up by local people after the reopening of the trainline in the wake of the 2011 tsunami. You need to cross the tracks to get there. I enjoyed feeling the breeze and the sound of the waves over a picnic here 👍 a few things to consider - there are no toilets or water here

JR八戸線が、東日本大震災被害から復旧開通した際に、地元に方々が制作したメッセージ入りドラム缶。イベント列車などが通過する際は、多くの人がこの場所から列車の通過を見送っています。Drum cans with messages produced by local people when the JR Hachinohe Line was reopened after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. When an event train or the like passes, many people do not see the train passing from this location.
