I studied Japanese at Meiji Academy in Fukuoka for six months and had a very positive experience overall.The classes are well structured, practical, and easy to follow. The teachers are friendly, approachable, and really focus on speaking, which helped me make steady progress. Class sizes are small (usually 3–6 students), so you get plenty of individual attention and regular feedback.The administrative staff is also excellent; helpful, reliable, and always happy to assist with both school matters and everyday questions about life in Japan. Everything is well organized, and communication is smooth.I also enjoyed the cultural activities and events, which made it easy to meet other international students and settle into life in Fukuoka. The location is central and very convenient.Overall, Meiji Academy is a well-run and supportive language school that I’d definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn Japanese.
Grazie a Meiji Academy ho trascorso uno dei mesi più belli della mia vita.La scuola è tra le poche a permettere di iniziare i corsi in maniera flessibile durante l’anno e offre anche varie attività per socializzare fuori dalla classe. Ho frequentato il corso di giapponese standard ed il corso business manners e rimpiango solo di essere rimasta solo un mese.Fukuoka poi è una città giovanile e vivibilissima, la gente cortese e amichevole, insomma assolutamente stra consiglio!
Amazing g place for learn and discovery a part of japan! Trully recommended the traditional class, doing some activities with amazing people is a must there is. The teachers are also very kind and nice with student.Do not hesitate and go!
As someone studying International Relations and Management in Germany, I chose Meiji Academy for their structured yet flexible approach. Their online classes prepared me well before my move to Fukuoka, and gave me a strong foundation before coming to Japan. What stood out most was the staff’s patience and friendliness.The school’s events were a game-changer. Activities like the Dazaifu trip added real depth to my understanding of Japanese culture. Even as a vegetarian, I never felt left out. Teachers and staff went out of their way to recommend meat-free dishes and always made sure vegetarian options were available for events.What makes Meiji Academy special is how they balance professionalism with a personal touch. Even when just chatting about hidden gems in Fukuoka, the team made me feel supported at every step. Ideal for students who want more than just textbooks, cultural context and actual connections to both locals and other international students.
可以認識不同國家的人一起學日文，真的是個很特別的經驗，也是個很棒的回憶！而且有時還會有好玩的活動，去bar語言交換、在天神或博多散步吃美食等等～很喜歡的一點是可以自己選擇課程時間，最短1週到1年都有，很適合想要邊深度旅遊邊學一點日文的人👍每天上課的老師都不固定也很有新鮮感😆老師們都很親切又溫柔🥰いろんな国の人と出会って、日本語を勉強してとても楽しかったです。先生もクラスメートもみんな優しくて、ここに来て本当に良かったです♪本当にありがとうございます😊
欧米人が多く楽しいイベントが多いです。国際交流もあって、英語も勉強できます。
私はここで数週間日本語を勉強し、多くの台湾人と日本人の学生に会いました。日本人学生のための交換プログラムもあります。カリキュラムと教授法は台湾の学生にとって非常に役に立ち、教師と環境も非常に優れています〜機会があれば日本語を学ぶためにここに来ることをお勧めします！
合計10週間、ポップカルチャーの集中コースを受講しました。学校は北海道キャンパスに比べて比較的小さいですが、雰囲気や全体的な経験を損なうことはありませんでした.学習環境は非常にのんびりしていますが、明示的に主張すれば宿題の洪水を乗り越えることができます!笑最初は学習ペースが遅かったと思いますが、すぐに間違っていることが証明されました。非常に経験豊富な教師のおかげで、この間に話すスキルが大幅に向上し、豊富な漢字も学びました。それらを数え始めさせないでください。ハハハ課外活動に関しては、彼らはたくさんの観光と言語交換の集まりを提供しました。しかし、私は自分のことで忙しすぎたので、いくつかに参加しました。いずれにせよ、もう一度行きたいと思いますが、北海道キャンパスで見たものは、次の目的地になると思います!!
この学校はとても楽しく、教師たちは経験豊富でとてもフレンドリーでした。何人かの先生がどれほどかわいいかは言うまでもありません;）私は学校にとても近いアパートに泊まりましたが、ヨーロッパ人には少し小さかったです。施設や設備はとても綺麗で良かったですが、友達を増やしたいならシェアハウスに泊まることをお勧めします。明治さん、ありがとうございました:)

Ich habe in Meiji Academy einen 3 Wochen Basis Kurs absolviert und habe mich schon entschlossen wiederzukommen.Die Klassen sind klein in meinem fall waren es maximal 7 Personen. Durch die Flexible Gestaltung von Meiji gingen ein paar wieder da diese einen kürzeren Aufenthalt geplant hab so kamen aber auch neue in Leute wieder in die Klasse.Der Unterricht war sehr gut strukturiert und man konnte auch gut vorarbeiten wenn man es denn wollte. Die Lehrer haben jeden Tag gewechselt welches ich als sehr positiv empfinde da jeder Lehrer die Sachen immer etwas anderes erklärt und so bekommt jeder die Erklärung die für einen am besten ist. Zudem gehen die Lehrer auf alle möglichen fragen gut ein und geben ihr bestes bei den Erklärungen.In den Pausen sowie Vor- und Nach dem Unterricht kann man auch noch andere Interessensfragen stellen und man bekommt auch immer eine gute Antwort oder einen Tipp wo man seine Antwort herbekommt.Die Schule bietet zudem auch Events an, ich habe an verschieden Events teilgenommen und kann jedem Empfehlen an diesen Teilzunehmen.Es ist in meiner Zeit immer eine sehr positive Atmosphäre gewesen und ich habe mich sehr schnell "Heimisch" gefühlt.In diesem Zuge auch noch einmal an alle Personen die ich dort kennenlernen durfte und natürlich auch an die super Netten und hilfsbereiten Leute bei Meiji.
