大蔵院 佛陀寺の特徴
平安時代初期に創建された西山浄土宗の寺院です。
建物の屋根瓦周りに見られる美しい建築様式が魅力です。
受付前の阿弥陀如来像が印象的で心を打たれます。
門に人止めがあったので、そこから参拝させて頂きました。寺町通りのとおり、この辺りはお寺が多いです。
西山浄土宗のお寺で、歴史は古く平安時代初期、朱雀・村上両天皇を開基としています。入り口から見えた蓮の花が美しく、写真を撮らせていただきました。
