なかなか健康的なご飯を外で食べられる機会がないので、久しぶりに美味しいご飯をとてもお安く食べれたことが嬉しかったです。また行きたいと思います！支払いは現金のみです。
I might have just found my new favourite place for lunch. This tiny eatery is run by an elderly couple. With only five counter seats and one table seats, it can accommodate seven people. I arrived right after it opens and only one seat is empty after I entered.There is a daily set meal written in front of the eatery with fish as its main dish which only cost 650 JPY. Today, the set meal has rice (brown/white), horse mackerel nanbanzuke (fried with sweet and sour sauce), turnip stew, omelette with rape blossom, pickles, soup, hot tea, and dried persimmon (not in the picture). What a bargain! And nonetheless everything is so good and taste like nice home cooked meals.Apart from the daily set meal, there are a few others menu as well. I heard the coffee is especially good because grandma and grandpa love Nepal coffee they had when they travelled there. All and all, it's a place I highly recommend and will come again soon.

夜営業中に定食を注文。店主さん？が寡黙で雰囲気はあまりよくありませんが、丁寧に仕事をされた美味しいしめ鯖をいただきました。
京都を簡単に訪れながら、昼食のために訪れた間違いなく最高の場所。私たちの9人のグループにはほとんど当てはまらないので、それは小さいです。それにもかかわらず、非常においしい料理、フレンドリーな料理人（簡単な英語を話す人）、そして驚くほど低い価格。私の最高の推薦！（原文）Definitely the best place I visited for lunch while briefly visiting Kyoto. It's tiny, as it hardly fitted our group of nine people. Nevertheless, very delicious food, friendly cook (who spoke simple English), and a surprisingly low price. My highest recommendations!

Simply perfect! What a great overall Japanese lunch experience. This little but very true Japanese restaurant has been a Jewel for us. We have experience here what a real Japanese lunch taste like, made out of whatever fresh ingredients the owners find that day + the tasty veggies from their garden.We actually met the owner previously at the market without knowing we were coming to eat at her restaurant, what a casualty!!!We will definitely come back next time in Kyoto, it is now saved in our list of Kyoto Jewels.Thank you very much!!!
