Located close to Kyoto station, E-nine was a very cozy, comfortable place to spend a week in Japan with 3 other people at. The interior decoration was lovely, the borrowable bikes were appreciated, and the nearby restaurants were delicious (despite the language barrier, the restaurant staff were very kind and helpful). Overall, it was a lovely week, and I hope to make it back there again someday.
Location was central and easy to travel from, but is difficult to travel to, the house is located on a walking only street about 4' wide which is typical in Japan. House is wonderful, included bicycles, a pocket wifi, samurai armour and nice painting/woodblock prints on display. Rooms were spacious and comfortable for 4 north American adults and a baby. Washer dryer was great for our travel clothes and the kitchen was great for breakfast and packing a lunch. Tatami bedroom was comfortable and each bedroom has its own air-conditioning/heating. We would definitely stay here again!
Very cool old traditional Japanese home. Don't be put off by the street that it's on - lots of "stuff" on the street. Its very neat, clean, and well organized inside.

Thanks fully and enjoying stayed at this place. Located not far from Kyoto station you can just walk or ride subway or train just one station or by bus.Compact but good arrangements make it so comfortable. Complete manual to use all the items and guidance to enjoy Kyoto.Very hospitality and responsible owner.
