戦前から続く歴史ある呑み屋街で賑わう場所です。
横浜における呑みの聖地として多くに愛されています。
野毛商店街には多彩な飲食店が立ち並んでいます。
最近は､新しい店が多くなり、若者が異性をナンパしに来る様な、変なイメージが出来てしまっておりますが、本来の野毛は、大人が呑み喰いして、仕事の疲れを癒す街。マナーを守り、気っ風良く、気持ち良く遊び、愉しむ場所。大勢で来て、一品、一杯しか頼まず、何時間も席を占有する様な人は、来ないで下さ〜い。

If Yokohama’s futuristic Minato Mirai is the city’s polished dating profile, then this place is the unfiltered camera roll: gloriously messy, slightly tipsy & humming with charm.I wandered in by accident, lured by a sign that looked like it had been hanging since '57 & probably still thinks Japan uses the yen symbol from the Shōwa era. Within minutes, I was surrounded by a labyrinth of narrow alleys packed with old izakayas, yakitori smoke & the faint hum of jazz...like the ghost of a sax player who refused to clock out.At one point, an elderly man beckoned me over, poured me sake I hadn’t ordered, and told me (I think?) that his cat had recently quit smoking. We toasted to her good health anyway.There’s something irresistible about Noge. The lighting is bad, the signage is chaotic & the entire place smells faintly of nostalgia & grilled chicken fat - but that’s exactly why it works. It’s the anti-mall. The cure for sterile travel itineraries. The part of Yokohama that looks best after your second drink.If you visit, come hungry, curious & ready to make small talk with a stranger who’ll swear you’re now lifelong friends by the end of the night.
