Great lacquerware shop that ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. The pieces felt refreshingly modern while still respecting traditional forms. We especially loved how the wood grain was left visible beneath the lacquer, giving each object a natural warmth and depth that’s sometimes missing in more polished finishes. The range of deep navy and lighter blue tones was absolutely stunning — unlike anything else we had seen in the area.There was also a small section with discounted “seconds,” which made some pieces very accessible without compromising on their charm.A special mention to the two ladies in the shop, who were incredibly kind and welcoming. They made a real effort to communicate with us in English using a translator, which we truly appreciated!
