This was an incredibly fun, intimate way to learn the secrets to making great ramen! Saeko was kind and gentle with us, informative, and told us many key secrets to making great ramen and gyoza. Her home is very cute and inviting, and we enjoyed dining with her after cooking. I highly recommend this course as a way to meet a wonderful host and get a better feel for the local experience. Great for anyone visiting Japan or interested in making vegan food!

Saeko-sensei is absolutely amazing! My husband and I took her ramen class before the pandemic and loved it. We were back in Osaka late last year and took her curry class. Japanese curry is one of our favorite foods and we learned so much from her. Her home is so comfortable and she's an absolute sweetheart. Her English is really good and you will not have any issues. It's one of the best things to do in Kansai -- don't pass it up. It's well worth the money. We're looking forward to taking more classes and learning how to cook more Japanese foods, but mostly looking forward to just spending time with Saeko-sensei! Don't pass it up - it's so fun :)
Saeko was a very helpful teacher and gave some great insights into the different ingredients and methods for making creamy ramen and gyozas. She was very welcoming in her home, her English is great and she was great fun. Would highly recommend if you’re interested in learning more about ramen and gyozas.
I had the pleasure to take part of a private class today. In addition to the normal lesson of ramen and gyosa making I also asked to learn and improve my knowledge about miso, tofu and Koji. I’m an Italian chef with more than 10 years of experience around the world but I’ve been impressed by her. She has been very professional, since 10am we made tofu from scratch, she gave me a very good explanation regarding koji and we also make miso. Everything has been explained clearly, she also provided different kind of miso and koji to taste! At the end of the experience I also take away the miso that we made. Also the ramen and gyosa that she teach me was very delicious!!! Very recommendable experience for who want to learn from the beginning or improve your knowledge. Has been a useful experience! Thank you very much!!!
Thanks to Saeko I learned how to make veggie ramen and gyoza! She also explained how the Japanese cuisine works and what the main ingredients are. Saeko was well prepared and has obviously a lot of experience giving cooking class! Next to that she is alsoFun to talk with :-) I really recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about Japanese cooking/ food!
大阪や神戸の近くにいるなら、この体験をお見逃しなく。 Sa子先生はすごかった。クラスは彼女の快適な家にあり、駅から歩いてすぐです。彼女は面白くて面白くて、ラーメンとg子の作り方を学ぶのに非常に有益でした。彼女は非常に良い英語を話し、完全な恋人です。 g子を作るのに少し苦労していましたが、ついに抜け出しました。彼らはきれいではなかったが、彼らは素晴らしい味がしました。私は間違いなく、それらを手作業で作るシェフをもっと尊敬しています。 :)次回関西に来るときは、間違いなく他のクラスの1つをスケジュールします。私が日本でやったことの中で、これを間違いなくトップに挙げています。(原文)If you're going to be near Osaka or Kobe you shouldn't miss out on this experience. Saeko-sensei was amazing. The class is in her comfy home which is a very short walk from the station. She was funny, entertaining, and very informative in helping us learn how to make ramen and gyoza. She speaks very good English and is a total sweetheart. We were struggling a bit making the gyoza but we finally pulled through. They weren't pretty, but they tasted great. I definitely have even more respect for the chefs that make those by hand. :)ext time we're in the Kansai region of Japan, we're definitely going to schedule one of the other classes. Out of all the things I've done in Japan, taking this definitely ranks among the top.

Wir hatten einen super Ramen- und Gyoza-Kurs mit Saeko! Es war eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre bei ihr Zuhause und der Kurs begann erstmal mit einer Übersicht über die verschiedenen Ramen und Miso Sorten, was wir sehr gut fanden. Saeko hatte für uns auch super vegetarische Alternativen und es hat sich nicht angefühlt, als würde einfach etwas weggelassen werden. Am Ende hat sie uns dann eine PDF mit den vegetarischen Rezepten zugeschickt, welche wir aber auch schon in ausgedruckter Form während des Kurses anschauen konnten. Sehr zu empfehlen!
