阿弥陀堂の特徴
阿弥陀堂は京都の本堂で、阿弥陀如来を安置しています。
落ち着いた雰囲気が特徴の仏教寺院です。
佛光寺大師堂よりも大きく感じられる存在感があります。
阿弥陀堂は本堂。本尊阿弥陀仏を安置しています。間口15.6m、奥行21.25m。単層入母屋造本瓦葺の建築。内陣須弥壇上に阿弥陀如来立像、両脇壇に聖徳太子像と法然上人坐像、両余間に竜樹・天親・以下六高僧の坐像と後醍醐天皇の位牌を安置する。明治37年再建。Amida-do is the main hall. The principal image of Buddha Amida Buddha is enshrined here.Frontage 15.6m, depth 21.25m. A single-story gabled building with tile roofing.A standing statue of Amida Nyorai is placed on the inner altar, a statue of Prince Shotoku and a seated statue of Honen Shonin are placed on both sides of the altar, and a seated statue of Ryuju, Tenshin, and the following Six High Priests, and an mortuary tablet of Emperor Godaigo are enshrined in both rooms. Rebuilt in 1902.
