The team at Moomin was absolutely wonderful! While we were staying in Tokyo sightseeing, our 3-year-old son spent a few days there, and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The staff was incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful. They took him on fun little outings each day, and the kids spent so much time playing together, building friendships, and enjoying new experiences.We were honestly surprised at how comfortable and happy he became after just a day there. The team showed so much empathy toward his individual needs, personality, and interests, which made us feel incredibly at ease as parents.Moomin is no doubt a fantastic place for children to develop socially and emotionally, explore new interests, build confidence, and spend time with like-minded kids in such a caring environment.
We had a wonderful experience at the school, and my little one truly enjoyed himself during the winter term. The school offered so many hands-on activities, and I could really see how much he matured over that time. He loved going to school and would often ask to go back more often, which says a lot.The teachers, Ms. Patricia and Dennys, are absolutely amazing, and the school principal, Ms. Barbara, is equally wonderful. Everything—from settling in to the registration process—was smooth and stress-free.We are very happy with our experience and will definitely be back next year!
My son has spent over a month at Moomin International Kindergarten, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the moment he started, he has had a fantastic time. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and they truly create a nurturing and supportive environment for the children.One of the things I appreciate the most is how engaged my son has been in both structured activities and free play. He has learned a lot, from basic social skills to languages. It's clear that the teachers are passionate about fostering a love for learning.Not only did my son enjoy the activities, but he also made a lot of new friends! It’s heartwarming to see him so excited each morning to go back and share stories about his day. The social aspect of the kindergarten is definitely one of its highlights.
娘が2歳から5歳までお世話になりました。娘は入園するまで全く英語と関わりがなく、いきなりオールイングリッシュの環境に放り込まれたのですが、明るく陽気でいつも保護者にまで元気を与えてくれるデニーズや、子どもの様子を注意深く見ることが出来、日本語も出来るパトリシアが丁寧にサポートをしてくれ、1ヶ月ほどでリスニングがほぼ出来るようになりました。スピーキングもぐんぐん上達し、半年後には外国人のお友達や先生とも何の問題もなく英語でコミュニケーションを取ったり、みんなの前で発表が出来るまでになりました。その後新しいインターナショナルスクールに入りましたが、娘の英語力の高さに先生方も驚き、どこで英語を勉強していたの？と聞かれるほどでした。また私は英語が出来ませんが、パトリシアが娘の園での様子をピックアップの時に日本語で教えてくれるのでとても助かっていました。園の規模は小さいですが、クリエイティブなアートを作ったり世界の国々や文化を遊びの中で学べたり、月に一度は子どもたちでお菓子作りをするのも娘の楽しみでした。お友達や先生との距離も近く、小さい子のお世話をみんなでしたりと、家族のように温かいです。ムーミンに通わせて本当に良かったと思っています！
My son joined Moomin when he just turned 2 years old and was there for a year. Teachers, both Patricia and Dennys were really caring and my son loved to go every morning. Also various age of kids are in same class so he learnt from older one and leant how to take care younger one at the same time. It was really a good experience and learning for my son at Moomin.
My first went here from 6 months to almost 3 years and my second joined her from qhen he was 6 months to 1 year (when we moved out of Japan) and we/they LOVED Moomin! We still talk about how we wish we could find a school that lives up to the Moomin standard, and where our kids could be jn the same class together. The teachers are wonderful and my daughter would call Ms. Dennys "mama", and the kids were always happy and excited to go to school. Would definitely recommend!
娘が11か月〜３歳８か月までお世話になりました。とにかくクラフト遊びなどでいろいろな作品を作ってよく家に持って帰ってきていました。サマーキャンプ、ウィンターキャンプなどの企画も毎回おもしろく、日々送っていただく写真で確認していました。週一回ファミリーデイというのがあって、親も参加して実際に子供の学校生活を確認できる場を提供していてくれました。先生は柔軟で優しく愛にあふれています。年齢の違う子供でも一緒に遊んだり、アクティビティをする状況も多く、そんなアットホームな環境が素敵でした。娘に思いやりの心が芽生えたように思います。またキャンプなどでも参加できればうれしいです。
It’s a great kindergarten. They don’t let the little ones get inside oversized top hats.
娘はムーミンに1年近く通っています。最初は週に一度マミー＆ミーのクラスに参加し、その後彼女は月曜日から金曜日まで毎日午後に行き始めました。先生たちはとても思いやりがあります。素晴らしいカリキュラムと楽しいアクティビティが満載です。比較的小さな学校なので、大好きです。空間もよくデザインされています。強くお勧めします。

周辺のオススメ
Barbara and the staff were really welcoming and helpful setting us up in Tokyo; the staff were speaking English and Spanish which is a great plus; unfortunately we couldn't enroll our daughter due to distance from our home however I would highly recommend this kinder for its facilities, information provided, teaching methodology and international environment (eng, Spanish and of course Japanese)
