Yuka is as creative as an artist can get, and also as technical as a craftsman should be. She has all sorts of tools and it’s amazing to see her work. From the removal of old gel to the application of colours, everything was done meticulously in her cosy space. I was lucky to get an appointment with her on this trip to Tokyo while on wait list.

Found this salon on instagram. Yuka is a master at her art! The attention to detail is everything. I’m obsessed with my nails and the amount of time and energy she spent on each nail was incredible. Can’t recommend her enough!!!
I found 111Nail on Instagram and decided to book an appointment for my trip to Japan. It was really easy to make an appointment with Yuka through messaging on Instagram.The day of my appointment I got a bit lost looking for the location since it was set back between two buildings but I was able to find it after going back around. Her shop is located on the second floor of the building. I got there early so I had to wait for her to set up before she brought me in.I showed Yuka pictures of what I wanted for my manicure and looked at the color swatches. She had a tablet for me to watch Netflix while she did my nails and we made small talk in English.I love my nails and will go back next time I am in Japan! It has been 2 weeks since I got my nails done and they still look nice! The gel seems a lot thicker than what they use in the US.
