Bought my knife here 2 yrs ago and its still super sharp. Came back again to get a smaller knife and a knife for my sister. Very helpful staff and they do free engraving so my knife and sisters knife have our last names in japanese.
Lovely staff, very helpful. The gentleman who served us spoke English and knew what he was talking about and explained how each knife was made. Would rate higher if I could. 60/10
Very impressed with the service i received during my purchase.Staff were knowledgeable, professional & friendly.Prices were acceptable, with a good quantity of stock for whatever you want to purchase.Engraving available, but not used, and they are happy to ship internationally.Pay them a visit & compare with other retailers, you'll probably be back.

Great knife shop with a wide variety of knives by Koshinoitto from Niigata prefecture. The service was friendly, patient, and informative. I was looking for an all-purpose (santoku) knife, the shop had a wide range from affordable to wish-list and a variety of finishes.I went with a shorter 165mm length, a Japanese handle within my budget. The knife is beautifully finished, well weighted, and just feels balanced in the hand. The shorter length is not available at a lot of the other stores.The gentleman who served me spoke English too, so that made it easier. There are a lot of knife shops in the area, but I would recommend anyone looking to add this shop to your list.They also do free engraving, which is an extra bonus!! Thank you for your help today.

Very friendly sales person who was more than happy to explain the difference in blades and steel the knives are made from.Engraving of the blade is also done for free.
