Very quaint part of Shinjuku, about a 5-10 min walk from Yotsuya-Sanchome station. The shrine itself was not very crowded and honestly a bit underwhelming since it was rather small and rundown, although you can do a fortune reading there. Nevertheless, it had a bit of a rustic charm which really struck me. But the stairs, oh the stairs, from Your Name were super crowded. When I arrived at around 2 in the afternoon we needed to wait around 20 minutes before we could get a clear shot due to the number of tourists who were taking pics there. In a nutshell, nice part of the Tokyo suburb to explore but really only worth it if you wanna invest the time and the cost to travel there to capture the cinematic moment.
二十段ほどの石段を上った高台に祀られている須賀神社。木々に覆われて小さな社が鎮座されています。周辺はモダンな建物が一杯ですが、広くはない境内、昔の懐かしい景観が保存されています。神社下は江戸時代から人々が行き来した「清戸道」。江戸時代、多くの村人が須賀神社を参拝されたことでしょう。
