I went to buy some Ikebana books and magazines recommended by my teacher r in Brazil. They have a lot of good things and people are very kind trying to communicate in English to meet customer's expectations.

This was a great introduction to ikebana. Each of us was shown the basics, given the opportunity it’s to create our own work with materials provided, received a critique from an Ikebana master instructor, and watched the instructor create her own masterpiece. While most classes are in Japanese, ours was in English, which proved to be very helpful.
A great place to learn Ikebana. Several classes are available throughout the week (including male only classes and international class). Except of international classes, most of classes are conducted in Japanese. Payment is cash only and registration is at least 5 days in advance.
One of the best places in Tokyo to learn the art of ikebana. Really recommended. They also have a shop with study books and materials.Classes are in Japanese but they offer assistance in English
