LOVE this store! It’s the only place my family is going to get their glasses from in the future.My husband bought three pairs while on vacation, which seems crazy, but the owner was so nice, and the frames are incredibly unique. They mostly sell discontinued vintage product lines from defunct European brands. The owner said he is 4th generation glasses craftsman at the location or something like that.My husband has bad nearvision so his lenses are super thick, but they were able to make them work with skinny frames somehow.We placed an order while in Tokyo, then picked them up when we returned a few days later before flying out of Japan. The owner can speak English and offered to rush the production of our orders at no extra cost. He said he cuts the glass in his shop.They also gave my daughter a gift when we were about to leave.It’s a quintessential Japan experience that we just sort of stumbled upon. So glad we found Watanabe Glasses.We are coming back for sure the next time we are in Tokyo.
After a nose piece broke off my glasses, I found this lovely little shop. The gentleman in the store not only replaced the missing nose piece but also the remaining old side, tightened all the screws cleaned the whole frame.
Accidentally lost the right lense of my eyeglasses when the screw got loose while we were on our day trip to Gala Yuzawa and we were looking for an optical shop around Asakusa. We saw this shop on google and went to inquire. The Optician inside assisted and checked my eyesight right away after we agreed on the price. They were fairly priced ( I think it was around 16,000 yen ) and I got my new lenses installed in just under 25 minutes!❤️ He even gave me a very cute eyeglasses case!

Extremely happy with my glasses. All other big stores like JINS, etc., would not put lenses into my Meta Rayban Blazer glasses because they’re too curved.Price is a little expensive however it was worth it. Will definitely return one day.
