They have mostly all thoroughbreds. If your kids are scared of dogs be aware that they have 2 or 3 dogs there. They are very loveable snd friendly though.

We have enjoyed taking lessons at Mihara, with Ashley (American instructor.) The horses and barn are well maintained. There’s also a trampoline to entertain the siblings during lesson time!
初心者でも丁寧に教えてもらえますよ。外国人も多いですよ。馬も結構立派ダヨ。
職場体験の時に馬の部屋の清掃の仕方や 馬体の洗い方、乗馬の仕方など教えてもらってとてもいいところでした！
So so. I chose beach riding program, but it was somewhat exhausting because horses didn't like to go to beach. It was not beach riding, but beach standing.

Hidden gem!!! The kids had a memorable experience the entire afternoon riding horses. Yama san is a lovely instructor and patient. Please dont expect this place to be designed for tourist. Enjoy it the way it is!

What a gift this place was and apparently still is! I had grown up riding Western on our own horses in the States, and learned English here some twenty years ago. I am so glad to see it still going strong.When I was there, the place was new and very small; it had started as a rescue for race horses from mainland Japan.It was pretty rough back then, and the horses, being competitive thoroughbreds with a lot of chronic pain from their racing days, were less than ideal for leisure riding. I was bucked off and also kicked at when cleaning stalls. But from the more current reviews and photos, it looks like those challenges have been addressed, and the stable structures have been upgraded.All in all, the place was a gift to both horse and human. I am so glad to see that it still is!
