It's a commissary. It should t need a rating. What you need to know is they have most things you will need and a ton you won't. That being said the kadena commissary is kept rather stocked and it remains clean most of the time.

Great selection of ((US) goods; produce, canned goods, dry goods, frozen food, fresh meat, etc. Reasonable prices. Excellent Customer Service. Friendly and helpful Managers.
All things considered this commissary is decent. It has most of what you would expect from back home. Some items that aren't available can be special ordered.I've encountered polite and professional staff each visit.My complaint and nearly enough to give this commissary three stars is the perishable food always has a sell by date for the current date or a day ahead. This means frequent trips to either the commissary ore off base grocery stores.
