新町天満神社は、森と海が共存する静かな神社です。
神社の周辺には歴史を感じる岩が点在しています。
参拝が終わった後は近くのビーチでのんびりできます。
Pretty far off the main road but generally you don't want to be on the main road anyway. Seems like the shrine extends from the beach to the top of the hill. I'm guessing the rocks have something to do with the history. I made a wish and gave them a touch but I'm still bald...found beer nearby without supernatural help.
