We are a family from Germany with two children. We discovered this restaurant coincidentally when we visited Kunigami. The restaurant is so good and the service so kind, that we even came back to visit another time.The sashimi is the best we've eaten in whole Okinawa and the price is very fair. But it was not even the food that amazed as so much, but the friendliness of the owner and the staff and the other guests. We felt like part of a family. They even went and harvested sugar cane with our kids who love to eat the cane pure as it is. What more can you possibly ask for? We just had the best time in this restaurant! One of the best places we went to Japan!The staff were so friendly despite the language barrier - thank goodness for translators!The food was AMAZING! The sashimi was excellent and so fresh and very generous portions. The udon was very good and the bruschetta was so yummy with the fresh basil and two kinds of cheese - very unique and delicious!The owner was a great guy who showed us all his fishing adventures.Highly recommend!!
Amazing place to eat! Motobu beef, onigiri, and the tuna/squid sashimi were extremely good. Service was also second to none, even got a free sample of some delicious shell sashimi. Will definitely go back.

12/27/2022One of very few five star ratings for me.M96 is the owner's way of writing 'maguro'; local blue fin tuna routinely featured at this fresh seafood restaurant. Because the dishes tend to be locally caught, the menu varies with the days catch.I joined a group here around 6PM which filled the dining area with about ten people. There was no menu, but dishes kept arriving at our table from a staff of two happy, gracious young people. Dishes included oden, squid ink soup, maguro skin, a cooked maguro and vegetable dish, gurukun deep fried to potato chip crispness, French fries, and something like fish/squid nuggets. Asahi and Orion draft beer was served, as well as various sakis. There is a small karaoke system for those so inclined.This is a small metal building with one glass wall facing west across the local (nameless) highway overlooking farm fields.The bathroom is outside of the main building and the men's urinal has no door or view screen, but was quite clean.Local Okinawans routinely visit M96, making the atmosphere boisterous and cheerful.

this place is amazing!! it's owned by a very nice family. they catch the seafood themselves including TUNA and octopus and you can tell how fresh it is! i had the most amazing night here and i strongly recommend it to anyone passing through! the poke and tuna were out of this world! they have a wide variety of drink selections and a really fun vibe going on. 10 out of 10 i can't reccomend this place enough!
