道頓堀から御堂筋を挟んだ西側の、九郎右衛門町通りにある商店街。周辺一帯のしっとりとした雰囲気で、喧騒はあまりありません。昔ながらのミナミ感満載です。

入り口のネオンがかっこいいです。特に夜はギラギラ感がすごくあります。歴史のあるネオンだと聞きました。

道頓堀2丁目商店街を西から東へ歩くと、左と右でくっきり分かれています。左手は店舗が並んでいて、右手はホテルが並んでいます。昼間は人通りが少ないです。静かな難波です。

This area feels like Dotonbori before the espresso kicks in.We wandered through in the late afternoon when the neon hadn’t fully warmed up yet and the crowds were still in pre-game mode. Think fewer selfie sticks, more locals on bicycles, and restaurants quietly sharpening knives like this is a Tarantino film about ramen.The famous Dotonbori energy is still here...just dialed down from “Vegas bachelor party” to “confident neighborhood bistro.” Lanterns flicker on, menus appear on the sidewalk, and every doorway seems to promise either incredible food or a massage that will rearrange your skeleton.We especially appreciated the surreal columns outside Dotonbori Hotel, where giant stone heads hold up the building like Atlas got a side hustle in hospitality.
