Nice hostel at an ideal location with friendly and helpful staff. At a covered shopping street which is relatively quiet a night and close to Sonia IR/metro station, some of the main temples and also in walking distance to the historic center with many good restaurants and shops, it is an ideal location to explore Kyoto.Just the cleanliness is certainly not what you are used to in Japan; so if you are picky on this it may not be your favorite. If they improve on this I would give it a full 5*.

Very nice place. I love the location close to the river and very quiet area.The bedrooms are very cute and peaceful. The kitchen is fully equipped, so I even extended my reservation 😊👌🏻 The staff was friendly and helpful.
最高、掃除が行き届いてて😊立地も良いし静かな商店街の中にあって近所には地元のお客さんで賑わう小さなお店などが沢山ある。
半夜房間可以聽到，樓下酒場客人的大小聲，驚嚇指數不低，堪稱 強心臟宿舍#
The staff was incredible! They sent me an item I had left there. The bed was comfy and the checkout time was perfect! The location is good. My only issue was that my cover had a questionable stain on it. Everything else was great!
I've visited many wonderful places around the guest house by foot and explored many other places in Kyoto conveniently because it is near a train station and a bus station. My first visit in Kyoto was great; in part, it's because of a low-cost and accessible guest house like this. In my next visit to Kyoto, I'd still choose to stay here!

各項措施都很好只是那個床墊很薄經過多人睡過以後已經很扁了幾乎沒有什麼彈性睡起來不太舒服這是在其他青旅裡面比較少有的經驗。
