あさひ坂の特徴
あさひ坂の階段を進むと清水寺への道に繋がっている。

周辺のオススメ
This "hill" includes a path that will lead you between two paths leading up to Kiyomizu-dera (see the first picture for the map). It also leads through a mini courtyard, a lookout point with benches and table, and past a craft shop and eateries to a set of stairs. These stairs pass a ceramics workshop (signage seemed to indicate temporarily closed) and to a lower path up to Kiyomizu-dera. In the courtyard, you'll likely see a stand w/ a red umbrella, where Hiro is selling U.S. patented ceramic coffee filters. A delightful spot to rest, take in the city view, and do a bit of shopping.
