美味しいそばの実スイーツを楽しめる、評価の高いお店。
日本庭園の美しいビューが堪能できる、居心地のいい空間。
This is such a lovely authentic Japanese buckwheat shop that features nice, family-oriented seating areas. It is hidden at the end of a very short alleyway overshadowed by the street-facing Arashiyama Yoshimura.We thought of trying Arashiyama Yoshimura, but stumbled upon Sonoqa and decided to give it a try after looking at the menu of interesting tofu (cold & hot), buckwheat-based choices, and other 'obanzai' options. Once we got in, we realized the interior spoke volumes more than what could be surmised from the street side. The view of the Japanese garden from inside was gorgeous too.The food (hot, cold, desserts) was top-notch. Highly recommended for the comfort, view, authenticity, and yummy food.
The place is so calm. I like their matcha ice cream.
