北海道在住。大阪に立ち寄ったので特殊鑿を購入しようと電話確認をしたら、対応が素晴らしかった。結果、商品の在庫は無いが、取り寄せは出来るとの事。電話対応していただいたスタッフ(店主かな??)の人柄から、足を運びたくなる店である。
Fantastic service, small store cash only. The old guy made sure that i only chose the high quality chisels and handplanes as he could see that i was a woodworker. I purchased 2 hand planes, two water stones and four high quality chisels for $360 australian. Very happy.
This is a great little woodworking store in Nipponbashi. While the selection of items is limited, they have a lot of really cool and unique things. The pictures are helpful for finding the exact location.
Great local store for woodworking enthusiasts. My husband was very happy with the high quality chisels he purchased for a fair price. The owner is very nice. He only speaks Japanese but we tried to communicate through Google translate.
Came here and bought more tools than I was expecting! I’ve done amateur whittling for ~2 years now and wanted to increase the scale of my projects. In the middle of my trip to Japan, it hit me that it would be great to get my tools while in the country due to their rich history of carving. Found some great stuff at this shop, and the shop owner was very personable despite not being able to communicate in English with me (had moderate success with Google Translate’s conversation mode). I would recommend stopping here!
Was very keen to look at some genuine Japanese hand tools and this shop definitely did the trick. Has a range of chisels, hand planes, saws, sharpening stones and some other tools. The owner carefully showed me the differences between the chisels and let me demo some of them on a piece of hardwood he had. Very nice experience and I ended up purchasing 3 chisels and a sharpening block from him. Would recommend!

仏像彫刻を始めようと思い、彫刻刀を買いに行きました。お値段はかなり安く設定されてます！それだけじゃなくお店のおじさんおばさんが優しく丁寧で、色々と教えてもらいながら素敵な買い物が出来ました！また買い足しに行こうと思います。
