Unbelievable expertise.Precision.Shimomae-san is literally a national treasure.Grow your hair out before you visit Kyoto so you can get your hair cut by him.I knew I wouldn’t have to say anything for Mr Shimomae to craft a beautiful cut for my son - I only wish my son’s hair would never grow again because I want to freeze the masterpiece Shimomae-san gave him.Thank you so so much! I love his hair!You are literally missing out on an experience of a lifetime if you don’t get your hair cut here. I saw techniques Mr Shimomae used which I have never seen before - he’s a genius.

髭剃りの技はまさに「transcendent craftsmanship」世界中からお客さんが来るのがわかった。
とても素敵な床屋です。クラシックスタイルの感じです。スタッフも親切で、値段も安く、とてもおすすめです。I really like this classic Japanese-style barber shop.The gentleman who runs it does a great job and is friendly and the prices are reasonable as well so I definitely recommend it.
