橋本荒神塚の特徴
墓地の裏に位置する、円墳の珍しい石室が見どころです。
町指定重要文化財に認定されている護神の社があります。
荒神塚のすぐ近くには、小さな社もある散策スポットです。
まわりは墓地ですが、荒神様を祀っている社の裏側にありました😊円墳の横穴式石室ですが、なかに石棚があり珍しい石室になってます…😮
After following an access road headed north from Narukami Shrine I unwittingly ended up at the Hashimoto Koujin Burial Mounds. From the sign it appears that there are 15 burial mounds in the immediate area, however the one located in the clearing here is confirmed to be the largest.The burial mound is located behind a small shrine and shares the clearing with what appears to be the contemporary grave sites of local families. It seems it would be recommended to avoid taking photos of, or examining to closely, the private grave sites. Another small shrine is located approximately 15 metres north of burial mound.A great addition to a trip to Narukami Shrine, or vice versa!
