南無飯縄大権現の碑の特徴
南無飯縄大権現の碑は男坂と女坂の分岐点に位置しています。
この碑は俊源大徳像が示す栄光の歴史を持っています。
飯縄大権現は昔から戦勝の神として信仰されています。
1号路はこの碑から道が二手に分かれます左が急な階段道の「男坂」右がなだらかな坂道の「女坂」
飯縄はイヅナと読むようで、古くは戦勝の神様として信仰された神様だそうです。なぜ薬王院と一緒になっているかはわからないのですが、こちらをみると確かに一緒の場所でまつられているのが分かります。場所は薬王院への参道（一号路）を登る途中の、男坂・女坂の分岐があるところ（神変山のわき）です。男坂の急階段の近くでもあります。

Takao, Shungen Taitoku visited by the tengu, 飯縄大権現 Izuna Daigongen. Many of the temples and shrines on Mt. Takao have this deity enshrined in them. He is represented as a karasu tengu with a coil of rope in his left hand, a sword in his right hand and riding a white fox.The monument is at the bifurcation of the Omotesando walking course into 男坂 the Men's \u0026 女坂 Women's Slopes. The 108 step Men's Slope stairs are to the left, the gentler Women's Slope is to the right.
