I found this business when I first moved to Japan by googling Japanese timber and found a blog post that Yukihiro (owner of Umebachi) had written about the different types of timber they use . The way he wrote about timber and the photos of his work compelled me to visit the workshop and have a look in person and I was very impressed by the finished pieces on display and especially a lovely round table made from Japanese Chestnut. On this visit I walked away with a perfectly made tray made out of Japanese Walnut. I loved the timber and started thinking about how great it would be to order a table made from it and it was not long before I placed the order. I picked up that table a few days ago and it is exactly as I hoped it would be. The quality of the timber is top notch and the workmanship is fantastic. The design is elegant and timeless with attention to every detail. It's obvious that Yukihiro loves what he does and that he puts 100% of not just effort but heart into what he makes.
ちゃぶ台を購入させていただきました。洋室に置いても違和感ないデザインでした。折りたためるので便利です。子どもたちが遊びに使ったりその時によって便利に使わせていただいています。他に免状を飾るための額縁もお願いさせていただきました。ぴったりとおさまり、とても満足しています。ありがとうございました。

ふるさと納税で購入しました。子供椅子がとても可愛くて機能性が高いです。職人の加藤さんの丁寧な仕上げやユーザーのことを考え抜いたこだわりの家具がとてもお気に入りです。品質は間違いないので、量産品に飽きた方はチェックしてみると良いと思います。
