河津城址公園入口の特徴
河津城址公園はシロヤマの頂上に位置します。
河津城跡920mのサインポールが目印です。
駅から徒歩約6分でアクセスできる便利な場所です。
由河津駅步行大慨6分鐘，便是河津城跡的入口。入口有點隱蔽，不過只要跟着Google地圖的指示便不難找到。河津城跡位於山上，由入口到山頂大慨要20分鐘。
You can access the 'Kawazu Castle Ruins' which is located on top of a mountain called Shiroyama (城山) through this path. At this spot you'll see a sign pole saying 'Ruins park of Kawazu Castle 920m'. I see many reviews saying its hard to find the trailhead for the castle ruins but once you arrive at this spot (by simply following the google maps from the station) you can just keep walking along and eventually the paved road will become a mountain road. At the time of writing this review, there is only one other review by Jaren Price, and I'd recommend following their detailed instructions if you're still having difficulty locating the entrance.
Kawazu Castle Ruins Trail. Looking for a little adventure in Kawazu with nice views at the end? I recommend the Kawazu Castle Ruins Trail. Vigorous hike and trail is not well maintained. Good walking or hiking shoes are a must. It took me about 30 minutes with no breaks from the trailhead to castle ruins. Trail has lots of steps, some areas have rock paving stones and other areas are overgrown. Muddy and slippery in some places.Note: The trailhead is not easy to find. From Kawazu Station go north to the Avail Kawazu high rise apartment building. Trail marker is across the street on the north at the intersection. Look for and follow the tsunami evacuation area signs. At the end of the road is the evacuation area. The trail is on the right side of the clearing. See photos.

周辺のオススメ
河津城址公園に行く際の入り口になります。GoogleMapの経路検索で河津城址公園までの経路をしらべると、大回りして北側の別荘地に入るように指示されますが、間違ってます。河津城址公園へはここから入らないと行けません。山頂まで30分程度です。名前に「公園」とついていますが、滑り台もブランコもありません。ハイキングコースです。
