Guest House Kyoto-Yamashinaの特徴
山科の閑静な住宅街で、京都市内へのアクセスも簡単で便利です。
日本語の漫画やミニファミコン、こたつも楽しめる居心地の良さが魅力的です。
リノベされた広くて綺麗な部屋は快適で、すべての設備が整っています。
I stayed at the Guest House Yamashina in Mid March of 2025 for a week with my friend. The house itself was fantastic; it was comfortable, the rooms were well sized and it had all the amenities you'd want, including a kitchenette, wet room, and two full size bedrooms.I really appreciated the effort the hosts put into making it feel welcoming too. There's manga to read (Though it's in Japanese, understandably, so keep that in mind), a mini Famicom you can play and a kotatsu which was definitely one of the highlights for me.Location wise, Yamashina is nice, if quiet. It's definitely a residential area, and you're more likely to head into Kyoto for meals and things to do I reckon. Thankfully that's an easy task, with either the JR Line that takes you into Kyoto Station or the Tozai Line Subway which takes you super close to Gion.My one issue that I'd recommend the host clarify is the Wifi situation. We received an email asking us not to use it for streaming (Youtube, Netflix etc) which we abided to but we were a little confused as the TV comes with a Youtube App installed and seems to be logged into an account for the Guest house, suggesting we could have watched Youtube through that?Regardless, it was a little unclear what was or wasn't allowed on Wifi, but really this is a minor gripe and was only really relevant in the evening when we may have wanted to watch something in English.Overall, I highly recommend the Guest House Yamashina

周辺のオススメ
広いし綺麗にリノベされててとても良かったです。2階に二部屋ベッドルームがあります。足を怪我してしまった人がいたので一階に布団をひかせてもらいました。それでも十分なスペースがあります。近くは飲み屋さんがあるので金曜の夜は敏感な人だと声が少し気になるかもしれません。駅から5分くらいで、周りにはレストランがたくさんあるので便利です。ファミコンがあって感動しました。
