Great time in Kyoto staying here. Felt right at home and had two bikes for us to use as and when we felt like it.Awesome place to stay for an authentic experience in Kyoto.
On a passé un super séjour chez Takashi ! Le logement est bien situé à proximité des transports de kombinis et de restaurants. On avait tout ce qu’il fallait à disposition et on s’est senti comme à la maison. Le gros plus c’est les vélos en libre service. Ils sont supers pratiques pour se déplacer dans la ville !

My husband and I stayed at Takashi's for 2 nights while traveling around Japan for the first time! We absolutely loved Kyoto and coming back to such a clean and comfortable house at the end of every day. He is a great host that stays in contact with you throughout the entire stay in case you need something. Takashi's house isn't too far from the Nijo train station which makes its very convenient to travel around Kyoto and see all the sights!
Takashi's place was home for 2 nights in Kyoto and it was everything and more. He keeps his place so spotless and easy to navigate for any foreigners coming into Kyoto. The best part were the free bikes that he provided—they were essential for touring around the city. He was an incredible host and provided all the information that we needed! Will definitely be staying again soon.
We stayed at Takashi’s place for 3 nights. I had read many good things about his place and about him as a host, but unfortunately we never got to meet him due to an accident. His place was very clean and accommodating.The bedroom is clean and simple, and the bed is comfortable.He had two bikes for us to use, which makes getting around Kyoto easier. He is also located walking distance from a train station, several food options, as well as a castle.The area feels residential and safe. Despite its proximity to the train tracks, the noise was never much of an issue.Even though Takashi was injured and physically unavailable during our stay, he still managed to live up to the praise I’d read about. He was exceptionally responsive and hospitable—well beyond what could ever be expected given the circumstances.I absolutely plan on staying at Takashi’s place on my next visit to Kyoto, and I look forward to meeting him next time. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quaint, enjoyable stay that’s different from a traditional hotel or Airbnb.
Staying in Takashi's place was a very delightful experience. He was friendly and very accommodating to our needs during the stay.Takashi speaks good English. He was happy to share with us some useful advices such as dining/tourist hot spots as well.While we were sharing the common space with him, he would give us privacy which made us feel comfortable.His place was also very clean and we enjoyed how comfortable the tatami bed was. He was also nice to let us use his two pretty bicycles to ride around Kyoto indefinitely. We highly recommend you to stay at Takashi’s place when you visit Kyoto!

We had a great stay at Takashi's Room.The home was very cosy and welcoming. He even had bikes that we could use. Seeing Kyoto from bike is extremely practical but also magical. You can reach far, while feeling the atmosphere of the city by following the small streets in the city.
