About a month ago I was in need of a cut so I decided to visit this place after reading the reviews. I left very happy with the result. I felt extremely relaxed and almost fell asleep while he worked on my beard. He is a very talented professional and did a very good job handling my curls! If it helps anyone, I asked for a Mullet and he delivered! Greetings from the Dominican Republic! :)
I have visited Barber Shops all over the World and Japan, but none better than the experience at Delight Barber Shop in Nagasaki. Obata Mitsu’s attention to detail and perfection of his craft is unmatched. The haircut and shave is a wonderful experience from start to finish. Do not leave Nagasaki without visiting this shop.

Love this corner barbershop near the Chinatown of Nagasaki. Here on a 7 hour stop over from NCL Cruise. Using my Google Translate, was able to communicate well with Obata-san with a shave of my head and face. It was so restful and blissful I caught myself snoring. I don’t get this kind of service in Hawaii so its one of my memorable moments of my cruise. Arigato Obata-San and hope you can come to visit in Hawaii! Aloha!!
最近改装されたそうです。2階建てで2階は美容室で［Cuore］1階は、今まで［ヘアーサロンヨネ］と言う名の💈床屋さんでしたが、開店から40年ぶりに店舗を改装し店名も［Delight］に変更されました。コチラの店は現在オーナーの子供さんが営業されています。1階は息子さん、2階は、妹さんでお父さんの跡を次いで頑張っておられます。そんな、歴史あるお店に私はお客さんとして、足しげに通っていました。昭和から平成。平成から令和へと時代は代わり回りの街並みも変わり近隣にあった床屋さんが無くなっていく中、ココの床屋さんだけはしっかり頑張ってきたんだなぁと考え深い物があります。新しい屋号の［Delight］の息子さんはとても感じの良い方でお父さん譲りのお客様への接客が良い。長崎の身近な床屋さんとして、これからも頑張って行って欲しいお店です。

I really needed a haircut after finishing my study abroad program, and my father and I happened to come across this barbershop while walking around the city. Obata-san had no trouble fixing my overgrown hair. I showed him a photo of myself with shorter hair, and he gave me a cut that looked even better than what I had before.This was genuinely the best haircut I have ever had. The other reviews are not exaggerating at all. Obata-san pays incredible attention to detail and went above and beyond to turn my overgrown hair into something I am extremely happy with. I highly recommend this barbershop.
