⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute gem! Incredible hospitality and fantastic food.We had an unforgettable dining experience here! Traveling as a big family with 4 adults and 5 young children (ages 5 to 10) can sometimes be stressful, especially since we do not speak Japanese. However, the lovely lady owner made us feel incredibly welcome right from the moment we walked in. She was so warm, accommodating, and patient with us. The restaurant patrons are normally the locals and owner is ecstatics to see tourists rarely.The food was absolutely fantastic. The kids devoured the spaghetti and absolutely loved the soup udon—it was the perfect, authentic Japanese taste. The adults ordered the pork steak, which was incredibly juicy, succulent, and packed with flavor.To top off an already amazing meal, the owner was so sweet with the children (she kept saying kawaii!) and generously treated the kids to complimentary homemade soft-serve ice cream. It completely made their night!Exceptional food, wonderful atmosphere, and the kindest hosting you could ever ask for. If you are in the Kyoto area, this place is a must-visit!
