西願寺の特徴
西願寺は小さな山の頂上にあり、静かな夜の景色が魅力的です。
本堂にはお堂と共に、歴史的な仏像が安置されています。
山からは岩倉の素晴らしい景観が見渡せる隠れた名所です。
2023年1月29日、長谷八幡宮に参拝した帰りに立ち寄りました。三条縄手三軒寺(西願寺・三緑寺・高樹院)の一つで、元々は東山の三条京阪前ありましたが、駅前のバスターミナル開発に伴い、現在の場所に移転。なお、山門は、創建時(時期不明)のものを移転させているので、歴史を感じました。前日に雪が降ったので、写真は綺麗な雪景色となりました。
夜行くと真っ暗でした！
西願寺西願寺（長谷八man宮の南）：その南には、この小さな山の頂上にある西願寺という寺があります。階段に接続された山の異なる側面から寺院へのいくつかのアクセスがあります。ここから岩倉の眺望をお楽しみいただけます。三山寺はもともと三条大橋東詰にあり、その地域の建設のためにこの場所に移動しました。寺は浄土宗の仏教に属します。本堂内には阿弥ida如来像と菅原道真の朝日観音像があります。 （Trans-word +：TGM京都ガイド）（原文）Saiganji Temple 西願寺 ( South of Nagatani Hachimangu ) : On its south is a temple called Saiganji up on the top of this small mountain.
